Blog by Doug Ingersoll | July 2nd, 2014

Update on what will be happening on west side of Aviano:

Black Mountain Boulevard: Rough Rider Road

Duration: June 30 for approximately three weeks; Work hours: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Activity:  West roadway shoulder closure for installation of a new storm drain. Heavier construction activity in the desert between Rough Rider Road and Pinnacle Peak Road will begin in August.

Restrictions: No restrictions.

Notes: Construction dates and restrictions may change, due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

Use caution when traveling (motor/pedestrian/bicycle/equestrian) through the construction area and observe barricading and signage at all times. Most importantly, slowdown in the work zone!

The Fourth Fireworks start at 9 PM here in Aviano at the community park. A great amenity for those of us that live here as it is a full 30 minutes long.

There is a ton of inventory available in Bella Monte - 24 active listings with no contract on them. That is the most I have seen at any one time there.

According to Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service, lock box openings were up a startling 6%. They termed that 'significant'.

Right now it is good to be a landlord in Desert Ridge. 154 single family detached homes for sale. 16 single family detached homes for lease.

There may be too much information out there right now for consumers in general. 15 years ago they had access to nothing other than what the friendly Realtor showed them. Change is good. Consumers still need Realtors to interpret and help acquire real estate.

I stand by my prediction that the coming Black Mountain Blvd access is a good thing.
