I just learned the statute of limitations on loan fraud is 10 years - it was increased from 5 to 10 years in 2008. That building at the SE corner of Deer Valley and 7th Street is an FBI building housing special agents of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau who investigate that sort of thing I am told. One of 4 offices nationwide dedicated to that. Amazing what you can learn by having lunch with mortgage lenders.
