Aviano Tercera Activity
It is supposed to be 76 this Sunday. Yes, we had a streak of chilly weather but it does not last long. Talking with a neighbor yesterday about how good he felt that he was no longer underwater. Meaning the value of his home is above what is owed. My question would be how long before you're planning on selling? 5 years? Quit fretting over this nonsense now and use your time on a relaxing hobby like model railroading. Sure, if your going to list your home for sale in 2 months this is something to consider but not if your timeframe is long term. All of this handwringing over the value of the home being less than what is owed is wasted energy. Nothing is real until you sell it and if that day is years down the line you need a hobby. My neighbor agreed and was last seen heading to the hardware store.
The Mirador at 22204 North 36th Street went back to the bank yesterday. The opening bid at the trustee sale was $1,050,996. and no investor stepped up to buy it. I fear that may be the same fate for the Borrego model at 3638 East Sands. Opening bid for the trustee sale today is $868,918. So unless there is a drop in asking price it will likely become REO (real estate owned) or bank owned. Only time will tell when these homes will hit the market.
