Aviano Venado and Blanca

The nice Blanca model at 22837 N. 39th Run just leased for $2600 a month. 3211 sq ft with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a tandem 3 car garage. Great location close to Wildfire and Explorer. The first floor powder room was made into a full bath so you can really use the bedroom behind the family room as a bedroom.

3928 East Williams Drive is now being sold by the bank at a list price of $579,900. I went back to my old grade school in the Chicagoland suburbs once and it is wierd how time changes your perception of things. The school was smaller than I recalled as a kid. Walls of windows I used to gaze out at the Illinois Central trains going by were now glass block. Tough for a kid these days to daydream while looking out glass block windows.
Going through this Venado that was the model home on Williams was wierd. We had signed up to buy this home when we first came through in early 2004 but after seeing the Savino with a basement we changed lists - we were now #154 on the Savino list! The Venado is a contemporary elevation so the interior doors are devoid of any kind of shape, just a slab of white wood. The driveway looks skinny compared to other Venado models I have been in. These are things we did not notice as we were dazzled by the new community in 2004. Don't get me wrong; the home is beautiful. The entire great room is tiled, slab granite abounds and you have the full wet bar in the great room AND master bath. The master shower can accommodate a small Central American country. Backyard has a pool and built in bbq piped for gas. This is a great model for folks that like to entertain and is truly a great room floorplan - no other Aviano model has this big of an open room. Nice backsplash in the kitchen - I have seen that same tile on a couple of other Venados as well.
Today this home is a bank repossesion that sits next to the school-community center strip of parks and amenities. All fingers crossed it goes for north of $600K. 4165 sq ft with 4 bedrooms (they are counting the casita), 4.5 baths - the powder room tile job is beautiful and a 3 car garage.

Sale price is $400K which is exactly what it was purchased for on 6.24.10 from Bank of America. Original price was $489K on 7.13.10. 3364 sq ft with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a 2 car garage. Lots of glass french doors and the cutest little mural on the wall next to the pantry of this home on a hillside in the Tuscany region of Italy. Small backyard and pool; backs to 40th St and sides to a cul de sac.
