Cassero Model Activity in Aviano
I was showing a home this weekend and the power was off in the garage. No problem as my buyers and I just turned on the flashlight function on our smart phones and walked around the garage like the Scooby Doo gang and their flashlights.
You will begin to see QR codes in many places in the future. They are similar to bar codes on food that the scanner uses at the checkout line to ring up the price at the grocery store. These QR codes are read by an "app" on your smartphone and can be linked to anything. So when the listing agent of a home my buyers and I were in wanted to make sure we had a video of the inside of the home, she had them just scan the QR code on a flyer and there it was - playing on their phone. We have put a QR code on the last couple of postcards we sent out to Aviano and the code takes you right to blogaviano.com. In the past, he who had access to information was king. Now that access can be had in warp speed. I use this company for my QR reader.
Much to the chagrin of my wife, I have been pondering this whole social media thing for some time and how or if to use which part. It looks like Twitter will be my method of communicating to folks timely information on real estate issues. Yes, I am a slow learner but I know several parents who have had real trouble with Facebook and their kids. I also don't need to use Linkedin to create a synergy with other Realtors. Maybe down the line these things will make themselves appear to be more useful for our business but not now. So expect some tweets regarding our pocket listing for a beautiful Savino model normal sale and reminders about the next real estate meeting at the community center. The MLS searches will be redone either today or Tuesday so they only show the active and awc stuff. If you are interested in a mls portal showing real time mls activity for a very specific area just let me know. Costs nothing and you won't get hassled by me sending you mindless marketing crap. The short sale Cassero model at 22424 North 37th Run closed on 3.25.11 in MLS for $370K. Original price was $415K for this 3284 sq ft home with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, pool, spa and 3 car garage and some fantastic wood flooring and tile work in the master bath. It is amazing how quickly this short sale was able to be negotiated and closed. Tax records have not changed as of this morning. Congratulations to our new neighbors.
