Desert Ridge Activity
Remember you can go to "searchhomes.com" to get a mls search for all parts of the valley. Blogaviano has searches related to Desert Ridge in particular. The searchhomes website is run by Realty Executives but you can use the property search box on the "Regional Listings - Arizona Properties" tab without giving any personal information. Try it.
If you are reading this blog and would like a search set up for a specific area of the valley just let me know. It is simple to construct and will give you real time mls for all the activity that happens in that area. Best of all it is free and, I can't stress this enough, you won't get hassled or bombarded with cheesy come ons. Let me know.

The bank owned Mirador at 22204 N. 36th St just came on the market for $549,900 or $107 for each of the 5123 sq ft. 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and a 4 car garage. Backs to Black Mountain Blvd. This little finger of Mesquite Collection homes has had a rough patch with this home being foreclosed and 3 others with foreclosure notices on their tax record. The original owners of 2204 N. 36th St paid $1,255,308 with 5% down on 8.1.06. As with most bank owned homes they are not accepting offers for 7 days and all conventional loan offers must be pre qualified by (but don't have to use) a lender that works with the bank. Day 8-12 offers will be considered from folks that plan to live there and after day 13 offers will be considered from those loathsome investors.

Here is a link to the most recent economic blurb from the Chief Economist of the National Association of Realtors Lawrence Yun. Me thinks ole Lawrence has a big jar of special kool aid he drinks from prior to writing this stuff. But I do hope he is correct. Like the side show crystal ball guy that Dorothy runs into in "The Wizard of Oz", sometimes we are told things we want to hear. Read it here.
