Interesting factoid for today - Maricopa County has the 3rd highest voter registration rate in the country trailing only Los Angeles County in California and Harris County in Texas. This from the Communications Director for Maricopa County.

Be advised that the Mega Community-Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, November 7 from 7:00am – 2:00pm at Desert Ridge homeowners individual residences. ONE DAY ONLY! We’ve got gadgets & gizmos a plenty. We’ve got whozits & whatzits galore. You want thingamabobs? We’ve got them! Clean out those closets and bring out your treasures. I Recycle Phoenix is coming to the Desert Ridge Marketplace on October 17, 2015 @ 8:00 am – 2:00 pm near the AMC Theatres. This recycle-palooza offers one convenient location for recycling  a variety of items including electronics, telephone books, office supplies, writing instruments, regular recyclables, clothing, golf balls and much more. Participants also can have their old computer, hard-drives and personal documents shredded and recycled. CRT TV’s and monitors are subject to a $15 charge.
