New Listings in Desert Ridge
Back in the Spring Summer of 2004 there was nothing hotter than Aviano. We patiently walked the pavered Williams Drive and looked at all the floorplans. Initially we had our name on the Venado list but after thinking about a basement that could be had for just $75K more we switched to the Savino list. No basement offered on the Venado. The only Mesquite Collection home with a basement option was the Mirador and 6850 sq ft seemed a bit much.
The community center had 5 large kiosks set up for each collection with floorplans and brochures. An attractive sales associate would whisk you to the model of your choice on one of the extended golf carts. There was always a line at the front desk of people inquiring about where they were on the list. We likely will not see a spectacle like it again for it was the perfect storm of the right product at the right time with HUGE demand.
The model Savino at 3908 East Williams Drive is on the market for $699,500 as a normal sale. We measured and photographed every inch of this home so we would be ready to go when we moved in. Our son Jason was born 7 days after move in so it was a good thing we had our act together. But what a home! The hopscotch tile floor, the wood ceiling beams in the Living/Dining room, well matched granite and cabinetry in the kitchen and a backyard with just the right layout and amount of space.
4616 sq ft with 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a pool and 3 car garage. Normal sale.
