Polka and Wrestling
Do something everyday that takes you out of your comfort zone. Great advice I was given years ago and something I do try to accomplish. The business of real estate makes this easy to do since my profession is goofiness on steroids regularly. I recently got out of my comfort zone at Pulaski Polka Days and had a fantastic time. Check out the videos on the website to see the energy and fun that still goes on in the normal part of America.
And when my daughter was done dancing with me I took the kids and their cousins down the main street of town to see "wrastlin" live and up close.
Block off the only real street in town, throw a regulation wresting ring in the middle of the street and open up the taverns with the polka music and lubricated patrons flowing out the doors. Lots of teachable moments here as the kids were able to pinpoint how each move was carefully choreographed and executed. "Polka - It's The Law In Wisconsin"
